'Can I swap for a game that we can win?' - These Saints fans aren't happy with promotional stunt | Vital Southampton
Some companies will go to some weird measures to sell a product to customers, and eToro have created one targetted towards Southampton supporters.

The social trading network company have launched a competition that could see one lucky Southampton win an away ticket to Manchester City in the Premier League as well as transport to the fixture in the form of a flight from Southampton to Manchester via ‘Le Tiss Air’.
The airline company, captained by Saints legend Matt Le Tissier, will take the competition winners to the game, and as expected, some Southampton fans on social media were confused by the concept, as well as question why they chose a fixture against Pep Guardiola’s side.
Here is what some Southampton fans had to say about the odd promotional stunt on Twitter…
If I win can I swap to a game that we might stand a chance of winning?

Don’t be fooled, despite many opportunities the plane will never leave Southampton.

Let me rush to enter a competition to go and see Saints get embarrassed by Man City.
In fact don’t worry – I’ll leave it

Some Saints supporters, though, used the competition as a chance to discuss more important matters…
Yeah sure, climate change is a huge world issue right now and you decide to get climate change denier Le Tiss to run a needless plane promotion. pic.twitter.com/HmcnbSGFFu

The Premier League fixture against Man City will be the second time that week the Saints will face off against the Premier League holders, with Southampton playing against Guardiola’s side midweek at the Etihad in the League Cup.
